To facilitate the simple and ordinary goal of being able to continue working and living, we have continued to work together with our employees, irrespective of any disabilities they may or may not have, treating them as fellow colleagues, and overcoming any obstacles.
This continuous accumulation of the “power to keep going” has led to FPCO’s current employment of people with disabilities.
FPCO’s employment of people with disabilities began with the establishment of Ducks, a Special Subsidiary Compay, in 1986 (now FPCO Ducks Co., Chiba Plant), which was born out of our relationship with Ahirunokai (“the Duck Society”); an association for the parents of children with intellectual disabilities.
Later, as a result of the development of various locations around Japan, including the establishment of a Type A Support for Continuous Employment business location in a first for a private, profit-making entity (now FPCO Ai Pack Co.) in 2007, the FPCO Group now employs a total of approximately 380 people with disabilities working actively nationwide.
FPCO follows a consistent policy of employing permanent employees for core mission-critical operations, and the contributions of these employees are essential to the Group’s business operations.
The state of the FPCO Group’s employment of people with disabilities as of March 31, 2018 is as follows.

Production of wood-like box-type containers
Employees swiftly and accurately attach and bond the side material to wood-like box-type containers.
